If you became a teacher to change lives,

not to drown in red pen that they don't read anyway,

You stay late. You grade at the kitchen table. You bring the stack on vacation. And somewhere in there, your personal life started getting the leftover, worn-out version of you. I know, because I lived it ...

until the night my son said, "You're proud of me? I didn't know that."

That moment changed everything. I didn't need to care less. I needed a better system.

Increase Achievement
You'll flip the classroom so students do the heavy lifting through self-grading and self-analysis, trade hours of written feedback for student-directed feedback that happens live while you guide and enjoy their learning time.
Increase Engagement
The kind where the kids forget to check the time because you're all too busy feeling alive. This isn't about cutting corners. It's about a research-backed way to grade, plan, and lead your classroom activities.
Decrease Exhaustion
Learn the proven methods to eliminate or delegate unnecessary work, plan and batch your tasks so you're never scrambling at the copier again, and communicate more effectively. Less time grading. More learning. Your life back.

Hi, I'm June

Small-town mom of two, outdoorsy to a fault, and a former teacher who used to grade at the kitchen table and write lesson plans on Sundays at 5am. I spent years being great at caring for everyone else while quietly unraveling on the inside.

Then I found a better way. By removing unnecessary tasks and leaning on research-based techniques, my students' engagement and achievement went up, I cut my grading from eight hours a week to two, started walking out at contract time, and now I help teachers do the same: love your calling and your life.

What people are saying…

“Walk away feeling motivated and inspired…”

June's presentation was so wonderful! Our audience was very engaged and the Zoom chat was buzzing with questions and comments during her entire presentation...

June has a very different message… She gives practical tips that are mixed with inspirational stories that we can all relate to. The result is that teachers walk away from the presentation feeling motivated and inspired.

Since June's presentation, I have actually started a habit of daily exercise! I didn't believe it was possible before but June showed me that it is not only possible, but it makes everything else possible!

I highly recommend June to speak at any event where you would like your audience to leave feeling motivated and inspired.

“Thank you, June.

I especially liked your personal stories like the secretary in her cushy chair and the teacher who loved teaching. These help us make transformative changes!

Jules, 6th grade math

“Thank you for all the extra time you spent mentoring me…

and being an incredible example of work life balance

by being such a present and engaged teacher but also choosing to be a mom/wife and take care of yourself each day.” -Lexi, 7th and 8th grade Science

"You saved my career!

I couldn't image life without my students - I love seeing them succeed - but I was SO worn out with how much I was working. Your grading scale and advice made helped get my kids to pay attention, do more work than me during class, and we have more fun. And I don't take grading home anymore!"  -John J., middle school English

I never found help for grading art, until now.

I would spend so much time trying to decide how many points every project was worth. Then, with just 10 points and your unit rubric, the kids and I enjoy evaluating our progress. And they get to see their growth, not just a grade. Thanks, June, from my little artists and me.
