For secondary teachers who want to teach well AND enjoy their personal lives.
Better scores. Simpler systems. Clock out confidently.
Who needs more of YOU after 3:30?
Discover a simple system where students do the heavy lifting in their own learning so engagement and scores go up, your grading pile shrinks, and you walk out the door when you want to.
100% possible. I've lived it.
Your teacher bag has a seat at the dinner table. It rides along to the ballgame. Or it ruins another Sunday.
That isn't just devotion.
It's a broken system that convinced you the only way to be a good teacher is to hand over every scrap of your time and energy. That isn't true, and it's 100% fixable.
I've done it, and so have my clients.
šShow Me How to Cut My Grading Time in HalfSound Familiar...Ā
š Your grading pile looms on your desk, your dinner table, your heart.
š You spent two hours grading tests, and the kids tossed them in the recycle bin without reading a single note (the nicer ones used the hallway trash).
ā° You're logging 55 to 60 hours a week, while your bike, your trail, and your people keep waiting on you.
š§¹ You fixed the lockers, shoveled the walk, picked up the pencils, and refereed at recess. Even though it isn't actually your job.Ā

Welcome to a different way
Built for better scores, simpler days, and a life outside the classroom.
Better Scores
When students analyze their own work, they learn the material far better than when you mark it for them. The research backs this up: student self-assessment is one of the most powerful things you can do for achievement. Once my studentsĀ practiced self-analysis,Ā their scores, motivation, and quality of work all climbed.
Simpler Systems
A grading scale so simple you score in seconds. Four clear gradebook categories. Batch planning that lets you knock out a whole unit in one sitting. No more bouncing between a dozen unfinished tasks or lying awake trying to remember them all. Fewer decisions, less fatigue, faster days.
Engaged Students
Let's coach instead of lecture, guide instead of perform. Your students present to each other, give honest feedback on their own work, and correct their mistakes. Connection with youĀ during work time replaces the written comments nobody reads. They stay engaged because they own the learning, and you walk out the door with energy to spare.
Hi, Iām JuneĀ
A small-town Michigan mom of two, outdoorsy to the core, and a former middle school teacher who taught seven different subjects in an eight-period day (a total of eleven subjects per year) while exhausted, but hid behind a great big smile.
For years, I hauledĀ my teacher bag everywhere I went: Family weekends, snow days, Sunday night recliner.Ā I told myself that was just what good teachers had to do.
Then one night, as I tucked my son in, I told him I was proud of his report card.
He looked up at me and said, "You are? I didn't know you were proud of me."Ā
My heart broke.
I was pouring my energy into aĀ job I lovedĀ and handing the people I loved most whatever I had left over.
NO MORE.
I built a simpler grading system, taught my students to do the heavy lifting in their own learning, and batched everything I could. Their scores went up. Class was fun again. My energy was preserved. My hours came down.
And š the š spinning š finally š stopped.
I'm not your PhD expert. I still cuss a bit, sip on a local IPA, like chocolate more than broccoli, and have mini temper tantrums. Iām not smarter or more accomplished than you...Ā I've simply walked the part of the trail youāre standing on, dove headfirst into the top methodologies, and Iām turning around to lend a hand and show you your next step.

āThank you for all the extra time you spent mentoring me⦠and for being an incredible example of work life balance. You are a present and engaged leader but also choose to be a mom/wife and take care of yourself each day. I am surprised that even on day one, you helped me realize the impossible is possible.ā

āI was ready to quit. June showed me how to let my students doĀ more work than me, how to useĀ batching for tasks, student self-analysis, and expert-developed curriculum tools. It changed everything. I'm still teaching, and I actually love it again."

āK-8 art had me drowning! Supplies, overwhelm, every weekend gone. June helped me streamline my curriculum and trade hours of feedback nobody read for real connection with my kids. I got my weekends back and we even started our family. Now have two kids and a career I love."
ā Bree, K-8 ArtĀ
āI used to think that good teachers built everything from scratch. June gave me permission to lean on expert-designed curriculum instead, and I shaved ten hours off my planning every week, the quality is fantastic, and all I have to do is guide their learning to the objectives. Glitter!"

What people are sayingā¦
āWalk away feeling motivated and inspiredā¦ā
June's presentation was so wonderful! Our audience was very engaged and the Zoom chat was buzzing with questions and comments during her entire presentation...
June has a very different message⦠She gives practical tips that are mixed with inspirational stories that we can all relate to. The result is that teachers walk away from the presentation feeling motivated and inspired.
Since June's presentation, I have actually started a habit of daily exercise! I didn't believe it was possible before but June showed me that it is not only possible, but it makes everything else possible!
I highly recommend June to speak at any event where you would like your audience to leave feeling motivated and inspired.
